SMS 50g is an extremely tear proof and resilient non-woven material made of polypropylene fibers which is perfectly suitable for heavy duty applications. It is a three layered SMS-material, which is made up of two layers of spun bond-fibres and one layers of melt blown-fibres. The spun bond layers ensure an extraordinary flexibility and drapability, whereas the melt blown layers form an efficient barrier against bacteria. Each sheet is two-toned - blue and violet. Both sides can be used inside and 0utside without restriction. This enables a color branding of medical devices (e. g. color coding for different medical disciplines). For double packaging a combination of SMS, non-woven and crepe-material is possible - independent from color and size.
